Current Need
The Sr. Director, IT Operations Enablement is responsible for enabling the best-in-class IT Service Management experience across McKesson Technology. In this role, you will be responsible for working with our partners and teams to establish, integrate, and continuously evolve best practice IT Service Management (ITSM) processes in ServiceNow. You will also develop and own the roadmap for onboarding the various McKesson business units to a unified ServiceNow implementation to ensure consistent level of quality and service across the Enterprise.
Job Description
Core Responsibilities:
Establish a strategy and execution plan to define all relevant core and non-core ITSM processes based on best practices and the specific needs of McKesson.
Oversee the end-to-end program focused on defining and integrating processes, upgrading technology platform, and customizing the final solution.
Provide thought-leadership and subject matter expertise on IT Service Management and Service Now, in support of Operational Excellence and Technology Transformation at McKesson.
Partner with IT Operations to ensure lock-step execution and realistic build-out of future-state processes.
Build, own, and execute against a roadmap to onboarding Business Units on the unified ServiceNow implementation.
Enable the IT Service Management capability by going beyond building and integrated the best practice processes; invoke appropriate change management, communication, and training activities throughout the engagement to ensure adoption and sustainability of the future state.
Minimum Requirements
Typically requires 13+ years, with 8+ years, of direct work-related experience
Critical Skills
A minimum of 8-12 years of experience in a variety of IT Operations roles (such as hands-on service delivery, operations leadership, consulting, etc.) with increasing levels of responsibility.
Strong understanding of the ITIL framework, including but not limited to strategic involvement in utilizing ITIL best practices to establish and operationalize IT Service Management in prior organizations.
Prior experience implementing, managing, and supporting ServiceNow.
Additional Skills
Knowledge and experience with Organizational Change Management (OCM).
Strong collaboration, facilitation, and negotiation skills to successfully partner with a diverse group of stakeholders.
Experience designing and implementing a wide spectrum of IT operational processes.
Relevant professional certification (e.g., ITIL credentials), strongly preferred.

4-year degree or related field or equivalent experience

This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered.
