The Aviation department is seeking a US based Captain responsible for the proper execution of his / her and his / her crew’s duties ensuring the safety of the aeroplane and its occupants in accordance with the procedures and instructions in the company Operations Manuals.
What you will be doing:
•Perform the technical acceptance of the aeroplane in accordance with JAPAT Operations Manuals and aeroplane manufacturer manuals
•Ensure that pre-flight and post-flight duties are performed
•Ensure that all crew members are fit for duty
•Ensure that all crew members are briefed on their responsibilities for the flight(s) and on the specifics for the day’s schedule
•Practice good airmanship prior to, during and after JAPAT flights
•Ensure the safety of the passengers at all times
•Operate the aeroplane safely and efficiently in accordance with JAPAT Operations Manu-als and aeroplane manufacturer manuals
•Ensure that all legal requirements for the initiation and execution of the flight(s) are met in accordance with JAPAT Operations Manuals
•Maintain familiarity with relevant registration state, EU, AIR OPS and ICAO air legislation and agreed aviation practices and procedures
•Have a thorough knowledge of crew responsibilities
Safety:
•Active use of Safety Management System i.a.w. JAPAT Operations Manuals
Operations:
•Operate in accordance with JAPAT Operations Manuals and Dassault CODDE
•Positive customer feedback
Leadership:
•Create a team spirit in- and outside of the aeroplane within the flight crew and between flight crew and maintenance/office staff
Training & Standardization
•Pass Line Proficiency Checks and Line Checks
Flexibility:
•Demonstrate flexibility when duty changes are required

US Passport or Green Card
Live within two hours driving distance from Morristown (NJ)
Valid EASA Air Transport Pilot License (FAA ATPL in addition preferred)
Valid F7X type-rating (preferred)
Language: English level 4 minimum required, German (preferred)
Experience:
Minimum of 3000 flight hours
Minimum of 500 flight hours jet aeroplane
Minimum 1500 flight hours multi-pilot experience
Valid Instrument Rating CAT 1
Command course CRM training
Commanders Line Check
Valid class 1 medical certificate
MCC certificate

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between: $183,200.00 and $274,800.00 USD per year; however, while salary ranges are effective from 1/1/24 through 12/31/24, fluctuations in the job market may necessitate adjustments to pay ranges during this period. Further, final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to geographical location, experience level, knowledge, skills and abilities. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
