Responsible for working alongside the Relationship Manager in overseeing the external vendor(s)/partner(s) who provide resources and services that are critical to the success of GCTO and GCD objectives and deliverables
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
– With guidance from the Relationship Manager, supports the overall relationship between the team and the external vendor partner(s). Actively collaborates with vendor(s) to ensure that implementation and ongoing support of the outsourced work is occurring in a high quality, effective and efficient manner.
– Supports gathering and alignment of expectations across trial teams and vendor(s).
– Collaborates with vendor(s) to ensure deliverables are met and performance issues are identified, tracked, and managed.
– Supports the development, gathering and analysis of relevant performance metrics and surveys
– Supports the Relationship Manager with vendor operational reviews and Governance Meetings.
– Provides assistance with vendor qualifications, supplier audit and compliance activities.
– Actively contributes to initiatives to improve procedures and systems related to partnership level activities.
– May assume increasing levels of Relationship Management responsibilities for smaller suppliers with support from manager
Education Minimum Requirement:
– Bachelor’s Degree
PMP Certification is an asset
Required Experience and Skills:
– 3+ years of clinical trial experience or relevant industry experience.
– Must be able to collaborate and demonstrate good interpersonal skills.
– Demonstrated ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders and facilitate issue resolution.
Preferred Experience and Skills:
– Demonstrate leadership skills to contribute to high performance teams and/or matrix organization
E xperience working with suppliers in clinical service areas such as eCOA, Imaging and ECG helpful but not required
– Operational or technical background in clinical support services
– Proficiency in Microsoft applications
