Job Summary:
The Lecturer will teach PA 327 – Administrative Internship for the La Follette School of Public Affairs for the Fall 2023 semester. The modality of the course will be remote asynchronous. There is a possibility that the position would be extended in the future.
The PA 327 course provides undergraduate students with opportunities for learning and working in organizations that integrate skills learned in the classroom in a professional setting. The lecturer will facilitate online discussion among students as students reflect on their experiences within their internships. The lecturer will be responsible for evaluating students through written assignments and other reflection assignments. All students will have secured an internship independently prior to starting the course.
Responsibilities:
Facilitates classroom, online, and/or laboratory instruction and assists with instructional development and design for a single course or series of courses within an academic discipline to support the delivery of quality instruction. Provides for-credit instruction in formats such as classroom, online and/or laboratory settings, including grading. Serves as an instructor of record.

Minimum $43,388 ACADEMIC (9 months)

Additional Information:
There is a possibility this position can be extended in subsequent semesters to continue teaching PA 327. This position may become renewable if there is a need for an ongoing appointment.
