Responsibilities:
- Perform daily inspection of forklift truck
- Use forklift truck to pick up all printed paperboard waste bins generated by printing process
- Collect and Maintain segregation of paperboard waste (which is brought to baler by finishing Material Handler) generated by finishing processes
- Operate and perform minor maintenance on Hogger, Automatic Waste Baler, and Banding Machine
- Feed or rake waster from waste bins into Hogger
- Manually tie off all bales with wires
- Weigh each bale and write weight on bale tags
- Use forklift to place finished bales into proper storage
Qualifications:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a teamwork environment
- Positive work attitude and willingness to cooperate
- Basic Math and Computer Skills
- Ability to understand and meet continuously increasing performance objectives
- Ability to obtain a Forklift License
- Required to stand to perform all duties of the job
- Ability to lift 50 pounds multiple times during the day

The plant was built in 1981, manufactures paper cups, lids and folding food containers, and has approximately 400 employees.
