SUMMARY
Responsible for supervising three or more personnel consisting of a diverse group of specialists, designers, planners, analysts and clerks. Assists Manager in planning, scheduling and evaluating a group. Responsible for quality, schedule and cost performance of assigned tasks.
Reports to Senior Supervisor or Manager. Provides direction and technical guidance to subordinates. Will interface with other Engineering groups, Production, Quality Assurance, Purchasing, Vendors, Regulatory Bodies, and other disciplines as required. Will be informed of priorities and allowed to schedule work as necessary to complete required tasks.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Work primarily conducted in an office setting with good lighting. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus. Regularly required to sit, use hands and fingers, operate computer keyboard and controls, and communicate verbally and in writing. Must be physically able to commute to buildings throughout the shipyard. Occasional exposure to dust, fumes and moderate levels of noise.
ACCOUNTABILITY
Responsible for groups’ achievement of schedule, cost and quality commitments. Accountable for subordinates’ individual performance
PAY SCALE
$111,400 – $144,200
This pay range is a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this role. It takes into account the wide range of factors considered in making compensation decisions; including but not limited to skill sets, experience, training, and education.
