Employee Relations HR Manager
Key Role:
Provide direction, expertise, and support to business units in direct support and management of an Employee Relations HR team. Apply leading-edge principles, theories, and concepts and contribute to the development of new principles and concepts. Works on unusually complex problems and provide highly innovative solutions. Operate with substantial latitude for unreviewed actions or decisions and mentor or supervise employees in both firm and technical competencies. Report directly to a senior ER manager. Maintain responsibility for workforce planning, including skills, gap analysis, retention, ongoing analysis of HR performance, KPI development, and performance diagnostics analysis.Maintain responsibilityfor identifying areas for improvement and design and implement strategies to enhance HR processes, and employee engagement for a dispersed team. Monitor and track the volume of work to ensure HR function is appropriately staffed for surge efforts and volume of work throughout the year. Provide weekly status updates to the senior ER manager and senior level stakeholders, as needed. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.
Basic Qualifications:
* 1 year of experience in managing a function and interacting with senior level leadership
* Experience with leading process optimization efforts, including efficiencies in technology and automation
* Experience with HR performance management life cycle or process from start to finish
* Experience with managing large team or function and staff development
* Experience with designing and delivering on priorities and leveraging data to identify trends, gaps, and develop actions to address.
* Experience in building relationships with key stakeholders, including Security Services, HR, Legal, Ethics, or Compliance
* Ability to demonstrate success working cross-functionally across geographic boundaries
*Ability to demonstrate success in operating as a business advisor with consultative and analytical expertise and using data insights to identify trends and develop measurable solutions
* Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of experience in a senior human resources business partner role or 12+ years of experience in a senior human resources business partner role in lieu of a degree
Additional Qualifications:
* Experience with performance diagnostics and implementing KPI’s
* Experience with the Workday system
* Experience with Convercent
* Possession of excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Possession of excellent teamwork, conflict management, organizational, and fact gathering skills
* SPHR Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $93,300.00 to $212,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
