As the HR Assistant, you will support candidates and employees through recruiting and onboarding processes and support the HR, Payroll, Client Services and Staffing teams. The HR Assistant supports onboarding, Staffing and HR processes and, as part of the HR and Staffing teams, creates a positive, engaged recruiting and employment experience for all Maslow Media candidates and employees. In addition, the HR Assistant will perform administrative functions to ensure the corporate office runs smoothly and efficiently when we return to an office environment.

Reports to: Vice President, Human Resources
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Assist with recruiting activities as needed. Activities can include but not limited to creating requisitions, posting jobs, reviewing resumes, scheduling interviews, preliminary phone screens and creating offer confirmations
· Perform sourcing activities at the direction of the Sourcing and Staffing team
· Update daily requisition report
Onboarding / Offboarding
HR Inquiries
· Respond to inquiries from candidates, employees and clients via the Client Services team in a timely manner
· Maintains HRPayroll email box
· Research and take appropriate steps to resolve employee or client issues. Escalating to management when appropriate.
Benefits
· Assist employees with their benefits questions.
· Submit Unemployment Insurance claims via state-specific website/portal
Miscellaneous
· Work on special projects at the direction of leadership team
