Wisconsin Technical College System Looking for Education Director – General Education and Business (80% Remote) Full Time

The WTCS Office is a State of Wisconsin agency the provides administrative service to the WTCS Board, which is the coordinating and
oversight body for Wisconsin’s 16 public, two-year technical colleges. Our team is made up of curriculum and student support
specialists, IT professionals, data and policy analysts, financial and business professionals, and administrative support. We believe that a

This position provides statewide educational program leadership as the Education
Director for general education, transfer, and business-related programs. Responsibilities include the initiation, development,
implementation, maintenance and evaluation of programs and curricula related to the assigned occupational programs. Additional
responsibilities include facilitating meetings and providing professional development opportunities and guidance for college teaching and
learning staff. This position must develop and demonstrate cultural competence, with the expectation for practice of diversity, equity, and
inclusion principles across work functions. Specific position requirements will vary depending on the needs of the Wisconsin Technical
College System Board. This position reports to the Associate Vice President of the Office of Instruction.

Qualified candidates
will have experience working with the development, implementation, or management of general education courses in a post-secondary setting;
experience leading, facilitating or coaching a team of skilled professionals and experience designing or conducting professional
development. Well qualified candidates will have experience working with post-secondary transfer partnerships or programs; experience
assessing program effectiveness in an educational setting; and experience working in the fields of business or finance or marketing.
