In this role you will be responsible for overseeing and leading our organization’s project management function. Your primary objective will be to establish and manage a centralized globally focused PMO to ensure effective project delivery, streamlined processes, and successful execution of initiatives. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including project managers, stakeholders, and executive leadership, to drive project excellence, maximize efficiency, and deliver projects aligned with business goals.
Role Responsibilities
Develop and implement the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the PMO.
Define and enforce project management methodologies, processes, and standards across the organization.
Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to project managers and other team members within the PMO.
Collaborate with regional and functional leadership to align project initiatives with strategic goals and objectives.
Oversee the project portfolio, including prioritization, resource allocation, and budget management.
Establish project governance frameworks and decision-making processes to ensure successful project outcomes.
Streamline and optimize project management processes, tools, and workflows to improve efficiency and consistency.
Identify opportunities for automation, standardization, and scalability within the PMO.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, knowledge sharing, and lessons learned across projects.
Define and implement project performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Develop reporting mechanisms to provide accurate and timely project updates to stakeholders.
Conduct regular project reviews, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as needed.
Collaborate with resource managers and project managers and portfolio management to ensure adequate resource allocation and capacity planning.
Monitor resource utilization, identify bottlenecks, and propose solutions to optimize resource allocation and utilization.
Drive resource management practices that align with project priorities and strategic objectives.
Establish strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels, ensuring their needs and expectations are understood and managed.
Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between project teams, stakeholders, and executive leadership.
Provide project-related updates, status reports, and executive summaries to stakeholders as required.
Role Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., business, engineering, computer science). A master’s degree is a plus.
Proven experience (10+ years) in project management, with a track record of successfully delivering complex projects.
Strong leadership skills with experience in managing and developing high-performing teams.
Excellent knowledge of project management methodologies, frameworks, and best practices.
Demonstrated expertise in project portfolio management, governance, and resource management.
Exceptional problem-solving, decision-making, and strategic thinking abilities.
Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Proficiency in project management software, collaboration tools, and reporting systems.

Salary
The on-target earnings range is $196,350 – $327,250 per year, which includes a base salary and short-term and long-term incentives that align with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary based on candidates’ qualifications, skills, and competencies.
