Job Summary
The Event Manager is
responsible for managing the daily operations of events at the College of Business, within our Executive Programs and Administrative Affairs
areas, to ensure that operations run efficiently and in line with policy and department goals. Since the Event Manager is the main contact
for client communications, this individual will oversee all aspects of event planning and execution, including the responsibility of
monitoring client budgets, and negotiations. This requires having good judgment, problem solving skills, and the ability to resonate with
business clients in order to build professional relationships. In addition, this individual is responsible for managing the administration
of college-supported student competitions.
This position reports to the Executive Education Program Director and the Communication
and Administrative Affairs Director, may supervise student workers, and may require occasional evening and weekend hours.
