Postdoctoral Associate in the School of Pharmacy, Department
of Pharmaceutical Sciences, University of Pittsburgh
The laboratory of Dr. Song Li is looking for a postdoctoral associate.
The candidate is expected to perform research on cancer nanomedicine and immunotherapy. The postdoctoral associate will be encouraged to
conduct independent research resulting in high-quality publications and to prepare for a long-term career in academia or industry.
The job duties include the design and execution of experiments related to the development and characterization of nanoparticles for
cancer immunotherapy. Skills to be used include synthesis and characterization of small molecules and macromolecules, and design, synthesis,
and characterization of nanoparticles. Experience in animal handling and tumor models, and common immunology and molecular biology
techniques are also desired. Candidates are also expected to write manuscripts for publication.
The candidate must have Ph.D.
in the discipline of Immunology, Biology, or other related Pharmaceutical Science field and have an excellent publication record .
Candidates should be highly motivated and willing to work on collaborative research projects .
