This role oversees financial and administrative operations for the school/center. Manages, processes, monitors and analyzes revenue and expense transactions. Manages and administers grants and contracts, monitors budgets, submits financial reports to corporate partners and funding agencies. Ensure compliance of daily, monthly and annual financial policies and procedures, and meet all reporting requirements
Job Description
The Business Administrator plays a critical role in the day-to-day payroll operations for Ryan Hospital and assists with various other financial activities of Ryan Hospital on an on-going basis. The primary responsibilities of the role include payroll processing, payroll analysis/reporting for the Ryan Hospital and additional operating units where necessary. This position has administrative responsibilities of on-boarding and off-boarding staff, maintaining position control rosters, processing payroll adjustments, providing guidance/assistance to managers for payroll processes, and addressing and/or triaging employee issues related to payroll. In addition to payroll responsibilities, the role will assist with reporting efforts and provide additional support for other VHUP departments. An individual in this role possesses a strong attention to detail and displays a willing initiative to proactively identify and address potential issues within their purview to ensure proper financial stewardship of Ryan Hospital resources. Additionally, an individual in this position will be flexible to accommodate various ad hoc duties as they are assigned, completing them accurately and in a timely manner.
Job Responsibilities
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and 2 to 3 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Bachelor’s degree in accounting, or similar discipline is highly preferred. Two-three years’ experience in payroll is highly desirable. Experience in Workday and additional certifications in payroll management is highly desirable.
