POSITION SUMMARY
Northeast Wisconsin Technical College is an innovative leading-edge college dedicated to student success. A trainer’s primary purpose is to design instruction and assessment in an engaging environment to foster learner success. A trainer continually improves the overall quality in the delivery of learning to support the achievement of college outcomes and priorities utilizing evidence to support decision-making. Trainers work in alignment with the college’s mission, vision, core values, and operating principles. Trainers are expected to provide service to the college community exemplified by teamwork, committee involvement, and participation in shared leadership activities. In addition, trainers commit to ongoing professional growth in both training and technical areas, as well as the development of their colleagues and teams. Trainer demand will be dictated by customer and contract need.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
NWTC is seeking an experienced subject matter expert to deliver established and customized training to meet the needs of our corporate customers. Responsibilities include:
SKILLS & ABILITIES
Two years successful direct occupational experience preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and directly related work experience required. Must pass Practical Welding Testing.
Recognized Welding Certifications preferred, ie; Certified Welding Inspector (CWI), Certified Welding Educator (CWE)
