Job Description Summary
Reports to: Director of Development, Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania
Definition: The Associate Director of Development for the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania is responsible for gaining a deep understanding of the educational, research, clinical, and philanthropic needs of the Perelman School of Medicine, the University of Pennsylvania Health System, and the broader University of Pennsylvania.
The Associate Director of Development will lead strategic portfolio development for assigned regions including identifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding prospects, as well as engaging potential and current volunteer leaders.
The Associate Director of Development is expected to work collaboratively with various teams across Penn Medicine Development and Alumni Relations and the University Pennsylvania.
