Job Description
The College of Education and Human Development (CoEHD) is recruiting for an Academic Advisor in the College of Education and Human Development Student Success Center. This position will be responsible for assisting with the advisement, recruitment, and retention efforts for students in the College of Education and Human Development (CoEHD). The Academic Advisor 1 is responsible for supporting the mission of the Center to provide all students with clear, current, and accurate information regarding the College academic programs from recruitment through graduation. This includes identifying and contacting prospective students in conjunction with the Office for Prospective Students (OPS), the Transfer Coordinator, and the University Advising Center. The Academic Advisor 1 reports to the Director of Advisement, Recruitment, and Retention.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree and two years of related work experience, or a Master’s Degree and one year of related work experience
Related Experience: in a field related to student support, human services, education, or related advising position or related field

Administrative Faculty – B ($44,000 – $47,000)

The University is proud to provide a reduced-rate tuition benefit to faculty and qualified dependents. Faculty can take up to six credits per semester at a reduced rate. Dependents of faculty have unlimited credits, but in order to be eligible children must be unmarried and under the age of 24 and must receive at least 50% of their financial support from the employee and/or employee’s spouse or domestic partner.
