Responsibilities*
Project Coordination: Organize and administer various projects. Prepare progress reports and maintain records. Collect data and prepare written and visual materials. Support other special programs and events as needed, including administration, communication, and event planning.
Administrative: Provide administrative support to the International Institute director and managing director. Assist with programming initiatives, schedule meetings, and manage calendars as needed. Oversee II Central office spaces. Assist with travel and make travel arrangements for director, managing director, guest speakers, and other visitors. Coordinate and set up for meetings and events. Provide visitor services (travel, visa, honoraria, per diem payments, hosting arrangements, itineraries). Track financial transactions and submit receipts.
Communications: Maintain correspondence and draft messages. Respond to phone and email informational requests.
Required Qualifications*
Excellent communication and English language skills; ability to handle a variety of tasks and meet deadlines; ability to work occasional evenings and weekends; advanced familiarity with Google Suite and Microsoft Office.
Desired Qualifications*
Bachelor?s degree or equivalent experience and training. Experience with international education programs, either as a participant or administrator. University of Michigan experience; familiarity with University policies, rules, and administrative procedures.
