Job Summary
The College of Pharmacy is seeking an experienced Administrative Staff Officer II.
This position will manage the COP’s Payroll Unit activities; design, implement, and monitor, in conjunction with the COP’s CFO and HR Director, an effective system of internal controls around the COP’s payroll activities by establishing a sound control environment around the COP’s disbursements by payroll. They will develop and recommend Payroll unit’s policies and procedures, aligned with the University’s business procedures manual, HR policies and procedures, and Administrative and Governing Regulations.
They will conduct and execute all actions involving payroll, compensation, and employment for college faculty, staff, and students.
This position will also manage the employee staff cost distribution process to ensure the appropriate cost center(s)/grant(s) and manage the process of appointing post-doctoral scholars for the college.
We are seeking someone with excellent organizational and critical thinking skills and strong time management.
