Through the ECHO NIH grant, the study will enroll English and Spanish language speaking participants. In addition, the MARBLES Study has been awarded a diversity supplement grant to also include Spanish language speaking participants, therefore, this position will require an English-Spanish bilingual staff member.
This is a 100% career Clinical Research Coordinator position with an end date for funding purposes only of 2030. Under the direction of the PI and supervised by the Project Manager, this position serves as a Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) for the MARBLES and ECHO Studies, both funded by the National Institutes of Health.
ECHO will enroll pregnant women and the baby will be followed at various time points through 2030. The incumbent of this position serves as the lead recruitment and community outreach coordinator. The incumbent will build relationships with partnering healthcare providers and attend community events. Complete recruitment, study eligibility questionnaires, and informed consenting processes. Work closely with other ECHO team members and participate in the study on-call rotation for participant labor and delivery visits.
In addition, this position will assist with data entry management of the MARBLES study as it continues with follow-up of currently enrolled families. This will include work at our Surge office and overseeing students.
Following the study protocols and strictly adhering to IRB and HIPAA regulations, the incumbent will work with other study personnel, lab personnel and/or students to coordinate and facilitate subjects’ participation in the home/clinical activities which involves many home visits and visits to the UC Davis MIND Institute, completion of self-administered forms and questionnaires, administration of behavioral and developmental assessments, and the collection biological specimens. Required is the use of skills to independently or with general direction coordinate and follow through in the overall administration recruitment tasks and consenting, and data entry.
