Preferred Qualifications
Masters degree from an ALA accredited program. Demonstrates knowledge of ALA Core Competencies and Code of Ethics plus Library Bill of Rights. Enjoys working with diverse population. Able to work independently, as well as with people. Able to anticipate problems, and be able to solve problems on a day-to-day basis. Excellent oral and communication skills are essential. Able to be respectful of differences, and have the ability to see problems from a variety of perspectives. Must be able to perform to the highest degree of standards. Organization and detailed-minded & orientation is necessary. Also, Computer literate, and the ability to manage people and projects, plus have a basic knowledge of medical/health informatics.
