The College of Education and Human Development is seeking applications from qualified candidates for part-time, non-tenure-track adjunct faculty positions. The candidates must have 18 graduate hours in the field, and the availability to teach daytime (morning) courses. Preference will be given to applicants who have evidence of effective teaching courses in a college setting. Additionally, preference will be given to applicants with experience working with all populations.
Required Education and Experience:
Master’s degree in education or related field
Minimum of 18 graduate credit hours in the degree and field in which the candidate will teach.
Availability to teach daytime (morning) classes.
Preferred Education and Experience:
An earned doctorate (Ph.D. or Ed.D.) in education with 18 graduate hours of child development or
early childhood.
Experience in early childhood education in an administrative capacity; experience teaching in higher
education; proven record of developing networking and collaboration with educational organizations;
and experience or the desire to teach via alternative delivery modes (e.g., hybrid or online).
Day and evening availability for teaching.
