Description:
The Technician’s role is to support employees with their technology needs; including installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading all organizational hardware, software, and communication links while ensuring minimal downtime. The Technician will ensure end user satisfaction and business operation by delivering full, end-to-end resolution of incidents and requests.
Excellent technical knowledge of Microsoft Windows (7 & 10) operating systems.
Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Active Directory user management.
Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Exchange.
Basic technical knowledge of current network protocols, operating systems, and IT standards, including virus software, DHCP, DNS, IP, network traffic routing, WAN, LAN, VLAN, internet connectivity, and virtualization (VMWare)
Knowledge of Smart phone device operating systems – Android and Apple iOS; experience with MaaS360 preferred.
Knowledge of IP telephony and Skype for Business preferred.
