Reunion giving is a tradition at Stanford University and Class Giving fosters the tradition of class connection and philanthropy through robust reunion campaigns. Ranging from the 10th reunion to the 70th, our front-line fundraising team works with undergraduate alums, both major and annual donors, to honor their time at Stanford.
The ideal candidate for this position has a strong belief in the importance of engagement and philanthropy and is willing to jump in and learn new processes and systems. Preferably, you are creative, have the ability to think outside the box, have strong communication skills, take initiative in asking questions and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Position Summary:
The Associate Director of Reunion Giving works with a portfolio of prospects comprised of alumni celebrating a milestone undergraduate Reunion at Stanford. The position will be responsible for building and training a committee of reunion campaign volunteers, as well as identifying and cultivating new leadership donors, ranging from leadership annual donors to major donors, to strengthen affinity for and philanthropic support of Stanford. The Associate Director will develop a comprehensive Reunion campaign strategy to personally solicit and close five- and six-figure gifts to meet ambitious Reunion fundraising goals for both unrestricted and restricted support. The position will also partner closely with major gift officers and other campus fundraising partners to develop strategies for closing major and planned gifts during the reunion cycle.

Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree and five years of experience, or a combination of education and relevant experience required. Five years of experience preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Demonstrated experience with fundraising in a higher education environment.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS*:
Occasionally stand/walk, light/fine grasping, lift/carry/push/pull objects that weigh up to 10 pounds, writing by hand;

This role is open to candidates anywhere in the United States. Stanford University has five Regional Pay Structures. The compensation for this position will be based on the location of the successful candidate.
The expected pay range for this position is $80,000 to $134,000 per annum.

The pay offered to a selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal equity, geographic location, and external market pay for comparable jobs.
