Montessori Children’s House Lead Guide

Job Description

At Stacy Montessori Academy, our single largest mission is to “ Equip the child with the keys that unlock their potential on their own”.

Do you have experience working with children between 3 months and 6 years of age? Do you have strong classroom leadership, understand the nourishment needs of children? We are looking to fill Lead Guide roles for our upcoming school. In this role, the teacher shall be able to understand the development stages of the child, be able to introduce the child to different lessons and be a good team player. The teacher shall be able to handle child development using scientific materials in the prepared environment.

Basic Qualifications:

• Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in any subject
• Must have at least 3 years of experience working with children between 15 months and 2.5 years
• Should be Certified in Montessori education

Preferred Qualifications:

• Should be able to mentor junior staff
• Should be familiar with or be able to learn to basics of computers

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

COVID-19 considerations:
All staff are required to wear a mask, children with symptoms of sickness are required to stay home. The environment is sanitized regularly and we adhere to CDC recommendations.

Ability to commute/relocate:

• McKinney, TX 75070: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• CPR Certification (Preferred)
• Montessori Toddler Certification (Preferred)
