What will you do
Leads and supports all aspects of talent acquisition and recruitment marketing.
1. Provides full-cycle recruitment efforts, including sourcing, phone screenings, in-person interviews, candidate and hiring manager logistics, and initiates and monitors background and drug screens.
2. Develops recruitment strategies and action plans to efficiently close open positions. Sources candidates via, networking and cold calling, specialty internet job boards, advertisements, referrals, recruitment list/directories, trade and professional associations, career fairs – virtually and in person. Leverages tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Zoom Info, and our ATS to source candidates.
3. Ensures candidates have a positive experience as they are moved through the interview and post-interview processes. Maintains contact and creates a positive impression on those candidates in the pipeline.
4. Collaborates with hiring managers to develop and lead recruiting process and collaborates with Compensation Specialist to develop competitive compensation packages for external hires and internal promotions which results in hiring qualified candidates and retention of current employees.
5. Performs and engaged in community outreach, public speaking, marketing and communications related to recruiting efforts, budget planning and monitoring, and represents company at on-campus at job fairs, interview days, information sessions, and other related events.
6. Monitors employment and recruitment trends and implements recruiting campaigns on social media platforms. Develops and utilizes multi-media campaigns as needed including print, media, social media, and radio. Develop and update marketing and informational handouts as needed.
7. Recruits engineering, technical, and trade students for internships and other programs.
8. Maintains the on-boarding and recruitment process in the company Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
9. Maintains knowledge of and compliance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations related to recruiting.
10. Performs other duties and ad-hoc projects as assigned.
What we looking for
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business or related field, or equivalent combination of education and work experience
- 5+ years of progressive work experience in Talent Acquisition, preferably in high volume recruiting
- Proficient skills in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint. ATS experience preferred.
- Ability to analyze and prepare recruitment metrics.
- Comprehensive knowledge of related laws, regulations, and practices.
- Experience in developing recommendations, implementing solutions, and being creative in recruitment strategies.
- Strong working knowledge of current best practices in sourcing, creating a pipeline, and managing the candidate experience.
- Strong presentation skills, demonstrating the ability to lead and facilitate effective meetings (obtain buy-in and collaboration) and make effective presentations to all levels of staff and management and external events.
- Strong networking and follow-up skills
- Ability to travel up to 50% of time. Travel to company locations is 2.5 hours or less.
