Job Purpose

• The Manager, HCP Transparency Operations role is essential to ensuring our compliance with US federal and state transfer of value (TOV) and samples reporting requirements. This role leads a team of analysts responsible for protecting our license to operate in the US by:
  • Ensure the completeness and accuracy of TOV and samples data collection for both GSK and ViiV enterprises
  • Ensure complete, timely, and accurate submission of disclosures and payments to state and federal agencies
  • Owns and maintains the US HCP Transparency control framework
  • Mitigate risks with potential impact to US HCP transparency reporting and monitoring operations
  • Continue to build and develop team and culture

Key Responsibilities:

• Support and development of team to enable the delivery of US Transparency and Operations Oversight Objectives
• Ownership and facilitation of the end to end US HCP Transparency reporting process
• Utilize continuous improvement methods to identify and implement key metrics and process improvements
• Proactively engage with key stakeholders to ensure effective communication of status, risks, and progress
• Partner with business counterparts tasked with identifying and collecting transfer of value and samples data to ensure completeness and accuracy of data
• Partner with Operations Oversight teammates to identify new data analytics opportunities and generate meaningful insights to present to stakeholders

Basic qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 2+ years’ experience leading, managing, coaching and developing others
• 2+ years’ experience leading/influencing delivery across matrix teams
• 2+ years of experience managing compliance with US Sunshine Act and state level transparency reporting

Preferred qualifications:

• 3 or more years of relevant work experience
• Six Sigma Certification (Green Belt or higher)
• Proven knowledge of business intelligence tools (PowerBI, Tableau, Qlik)
• Ability to identify risks/issues, evaluate solutions and provide viable alternatives
• Demonstrated high learning agility in a continuously changing environment
• Proven ability to use data for decision making and influencing strategy
• Demonstrated process improvements using ADP, Six Sigma, and/or Lean principles
• Essential computing skills including all Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Excellent verbal/written communication, listening and interpersonal skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and trust around sensitive compliance issues
• Ability to prioritize and the flexibility to adapt to changing priorities
• Ability to analyze, interpret and report on high volume data, communicating key clear messages that enables effective decision making
• Ability to simultaneously manage complex processes, multiple assignments, and projects
• Strong organizational skills and demonstrated problem solving and decision-making skills
• Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities and implement continuous improvements to processes
