We are seeking a Commissions Analyst to join our team. This individual will calculate commissions for the global sales staff of Rapiscan as well as assist in developing the commission plans by working with the Sales VP’s for the Detection business. They will work alongside Finance to model commissions forecasts & budgets. As well as develop a deep understanding of the commissions plans and the ERP systems to ensure commissions can be calculated accurately and paid on time.
Responsibilities
- Lead the commissions calculations to ensure the global sales staff is paid on time.
- Prepare and analyze the commission plans, working with the Sales VPs, HR, and Finance to ensure the commission plans meet the company’s business objectives.
- Work with the Sales VP’s to build sales targets and track performance of the sales staff against those targets.
- Support monthly forecast and annual budget processes through preparation of accurate commissions estimates.
- Assist in the calculation of booking actuals and targets for the Sales division.
- Work directly supporting the Sales division requirements across two distinct business units.
- Communicate, ask questions, and work with other functional organizations to accomplish team objectives.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, engineering, or similar field required.
- 3+ years of experience working in commissions processing, accounting, or payroll required.
- Possess strong interpersonal skills and able to work with multiple levels of the organization.
- Strong written and verbal skills including demonstrated ability to succinctly present complex information to management.
- Must be flexible and willing to deal with a wide range of work assignments.
- Ability to work through problems with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize concurrent requirements and accommodate numerous stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience cross-training or supervising personnel a plus.
- Knowledge of key financial systems and tools (Microsoft Dynamics AX, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly to changing requirements. Able to learn processes quickly and apply knowledge to unique situations.
- Ability to work in a team environment. Experience working in a global environment a plus.
