Position Purpose

Support development & install of new equipment & process for our aseptic & finished production areas to meet future business & regulatory requirements. Learning the core processes & methods to improve system & equipment reliability to meet all customer, business & regulatory requirements through the following activities: People Focus, Process Focus, Equipment Focus & Standards “Gatekeeper”.

Accountabilities

• Train on processes & related systems
• Demonstrate awareness of NNPILP’s motivation for making cLEAN® a part of everyday life
• Must demonstrate the ability to apply fundamental cLEAN® tools in the on-going improvement of everyday work
• Support event response & practical problem-solving activities
• Support & lead counter measure development & implementations, including training
• Support & lead activities to develop & maintain standards for procedures, maintenance plans, & specifications
• Other accountabilities, as assigned

Required Qualifications

• BS in Engineering/related field, or equivalent combination of education & experience

Desired Qualifications

• Minimum of one (1) year of work-related engineering experience in design, maintenance, & process improvement
• Knowledgeable in the following systems:
  • Instrument & electrical
  • Mechanical
  • Control/SCADA/PLCs
  • Process improvement methodologies
  • Root Cause Analysis (RCA)

• Proven expertise in planning/organization/execution of engineering activities
• Follow up on results & revising the work plan for complex problems being resolved by cross functional teams

Physical & Other Requirements

• Occasionally moves equipment &/or supplies weighing up to 33 pounds within the facility using various body positions
• Ability to lift objects that are up to 40 lbs. with assistance
• Routinely operates & inspects manufacturing equipment using hands
• Corrected Vision to 20/30
• Occasionally ascends/descends a ladder to service equipment & can work atop elevated positions
• Occasionally works around odorous &/or hazardous materials. May be required to wear latex gloves
• Occasionally positions self within confined spaces for inspection, repair & maintenance of equipment
• Ability to work in loud noise environments with hearing protection
• Ability to work hours necessary to support production & / or maintenance activities
• Ability to work the hours necessary to support a 24/7 continuous manufacturing operation
• Ability to travel internationally, as requested (up to 10%)
