About the Department:
Enterprise Application Services (EAS) is in the Office of Information Technology (OIT) division at North Carolina State University. EAS is responsible for the design, implementation, operation, enhancement, maintenance & upgrade of the University’s enterprise business applications. This includes the development, operation & maintenance of all enterprise administrative systems (Advancement, Financials, HR, Non-Credit, Portal, Research Administration, and Student Information Systems, etc.), configuration management, database administration, maintenance, enhancements, and application integration.
The Database Administration Services (DBA) team within EAS is responsible for administering all centralized database environments of the University. It conducts database installation and maintenance, performs database administration and operational support, provides database design and consultation, and ensures database security and performance.

The IT Database Administrator II position supports the OIT Oracle enterprise databases.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Minimum Education and Experience:
Master’s degree and one year of relevant experience; or Bachelor’s degree and 2 or more years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
