Position Summary:
The Workday Security Analyst will be responsible for application security configuration, maintenance, access control, and administration activities within the Workday application. Role will serve as the backup to the Workday Security Administrator for post go-live activities for a new Workday implementation. The role should have foundational knowledge of Human Resource Information System (HRIS) functionality, financial management systems, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Systems, application configuration, application security best practices, and system maintenance activities. The Workday Security Analyst will be a functional security liaison for each Workday functional area (Human Resources, Payroll, Finance, and Supply Chain). Analyst Level offered commensurate to level of experience held.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
*Configure, maintain, and advise on security within the Workday application. This includes domain and business process security policies, security group, and assignable role management.
*Coordinate with vendors to understand new technology scope and association with new functionality and security requirements.
*Develop and maintain awareness of data security to ensure compliance with applicable MultiCare policies and procedures.
*Participate in report reviews, including understanding and ensuring security and data privacy standards.
*Stay updated on new security features within the application’s future roadmap and implement where possible.
*Perform audits on system roles and access logs to ensure accuracy.
*Demonstrate proof of security controls during internal and external audits.
*Liaison and support for Workday Identity and Access Management (IAM) functions.
*Provide Workday Security Tier 2/3 support as required.
Minimum Requirements:
2+ years of experience with HR/Finance application security
Workday experience and/or Workday security focused training preferred.
Experience in healthcare industry nice to have.
HR/Finance functional experience preferred.

Education/Licenses/Certifications:
Bachelor’s degree in information systems preferred
