Description
Missouri University of Science and Technology, a NCAA Division II institution in the Great Lakes Valley
Conference, is accepting applications for the head coach of the women’s volleyball program. The successful candidate will be a positive,
enthusiastic individual who is committed to the continued academic and athletic success of student-athletes and will adhere to all NCAA and
GLVC rules. The individual selected will be responsible for all aspects of operation and management of a successful women’s volleyball
program. This includes, but is not limited to, recruiting, budgeting, fundraising, scheduling competitions, planning practice, cultivating
alumni, and developing game strategies. This full-time position requires personal and professional integrity, an excellent work ethic, time
management, and exceptional motivational and communication skills.
Essential
Functions
Minimum Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree in related/relevant area or an equivalent
combination of education and experience and at least 6 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is
necessary.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in exercise science, sports
management, or related field.
Successful collegiate head coaching experience.
Knowledge of NCAA DII
rules
Anticipated Hiring Range
Salary is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to, the
individual’s particular combination of education, skills, and experience, as well as organizational requirements.
