The Procurement Value Team Lead (VTL) will serve as a proactive technology thought leader and strategist to the Sourcing organization. The VTL is responsible for business partnering, developing the functional technology strategy, introducing innovation, developing and executing the product roadmap in collaboration with other Enterprise IT (EIT) leads, Platform Leads, Functional Architects and Process Owners. The VTL will be responsible for associated value identification and tracking realization for the product lines and actively managing the team’s financials and goals.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Works with Procurement business customers to proactively search for ways to add value to current company processes and technologies
• Identify value drivers for Procurement including ways to automate and simplify work and allow employees to be more productive
• Understand Procurement processes and identify strategic priorities aligned with connecting technology and streamlining business processes
• Scans the market for the latest technologies that business customers may want to consider leveraging; proactively presents these and other strategic ideas during normal business engagement
• Gathers strategic requirements from businesses customers and Divisional IT teams; works with a team of Product Line Leads to determine if those changes align to Product Roadmaps
• Drives product lifecycle management operations by actively monitoring service levels and the total cost of ownership end-to-end across the Value Team
• Supports overall EIT objectives by working collaboratively with other VTLs, Team Leads and the EIT VP to prioritize the EIT backlog in such a way that delivers on enterprise outcomes and priorities
• Owns responsibility of Value Team financial management by ensuring business case development and funding allocation are routinely performed
• Ensures transparency in total cost of ownership for associated product lines
• Drives ownership of relevant corporate compliance changes by making sure organizational compliance needs are being monitored, managed, and remediated
• Manage continuous process improvement by constantly evaluating the Value Team processes against expectations; develops customer feedback mechanism to continuously understand opportunities for improvement
• Develop and enable talent strategy by developing an external and strong internal network to enable innovation, recruit highly skilled and diverse talent, stay current with industry trends, and support effective vendor partnerships

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree is required. Concentration in-Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business or related field-is-preferred.
• Advanced Degree preferred. Master’s in business administration, Technology Management, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or like field.

-Required Skills & Experience:–

• 10+ years IT experience and 5 years domain expertise
• Has strong business knowledge and ability to connect business strategy with IT
• Experience in product, program, and people management (e.g., in an organizational unit with 30+ team members)-
• Proven ability to communicate with, manage, and influence senior stakeholders
• Strong communication skills with ability to align the organization on complex technical decisions-
• Several years of experience with a strong P&L responsibility-

Final determinations with respect to salary will take into account a number of factors, which may include, but not be limited to the primary work location and the chosen candidate’s relevant skills, experience, and education.

Expected salary range:
$191,700.00 – $326,000.00
