We are looking for an individual to support the Fidelity Fund Investment Operations (FFIO) Business Unit’s application production environments. This position requires strong critical thinking, with a good background of fund operations and the ability to be technically adept across a broad range of technologies. As a hands-on support analyst, you will play a key role in ensuring stability of our application environments and service delivery for our customers.
Enterprise Infrastructure Application Delivery provides production support across for a wide range of applications used by the Fidelity Fund Investments Operations Investment (FFIO) group. Our team provides support for applications including Incident, Change, Problem, Release and SRE Management. We partner with our key stakeholders in IT and the Business to deploy new functionalities, software fixes and support applications in various infrastructures. This is an outstanding opportunity to work with a highly collaborative and fast paced team.
The Expertise You Have
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science or equivalent work experience
Production support experience in the financial industry
Hands-on experience with Linux, Windows, VMware Operating Systems, Storage, Networking technologies and supporting applications hosted in a cloud environment.
Experience in Application Disaster recovery and automation
Ability to partake in on-call rotation including weekends and evenings
ITIL, ITSM and CSM certification preferred
Cloud based knowledge (AWS, EKS) preferred
The Skills You Bring
Operating Systems, SQL, PL/SQL, Control-M, Command line and OBIEE
Experience in automation of manual processes, developing operating manuals, application deployment and CI/CD Pipeline support
Proficiency in Shel scripting, Java, Python, or other programming languages for developing customized automation solutions
Experience in disaster recovery testing and deploying applications to the cloud
Knowledge of cloud, operating systems, database, and storage technologies
Your ability to handle incidents, impact assessment and communicate efficiently
Your working experience in working with product teams in an agile environment

Responsible for stability and day to day support of critical applications
Incident Management, remediation, root-cause identification, vendor co-ordination and execution of bug fixes
Timely escalation to all stakeholders for high impact incidents and close co-ordination with other support teams in Enterprise Infrastructure
Identifying cases for automated solutions, development, and deployment of those solutions to reduce manual intervention and human errors
Disaster recovery testing and risk policy adherence
Deploying applications in hybrid environments, log aggregation and troubleshooting
