Position Purpose:

Provides financial and administrative accounting support for Leland’s Industries, LLC.

Essential Job Functions

Accounts Payable:

• Own the full cycle A/P process as required
• General accounts payable coding and processing
• Review invoices and expense reports/checks and ACH payments
• Vendor and G/L coding and verifying codes submitted by others
• Manage and maintain the vendor list in ERP system
• Answer inquiries from vendors, suppliers, employees, and management, and research discrepancies
• Reconcile Vendor statements, research billing discrepancies and initiate action based on findings
• Ensure established financial controls are adhered to in the performance of specific procedures, and evidence is retained
• Participate in process improvement projects and productivity enhancements, which include but are not limited to, expense reporting and reimbursement business processes
• Applying A/R payments and reconciling undeposited funds
• Perform segments of monthly closing tasks, including bank and credit card reconciliations
• Assist with monthly inventory counts
• Other duties as requested

Requirements:

• Proficient in ERP systems
• Manufacturing/ inventory
• Command of the Microsoft suite, specifically: Excel
• Critical and analytical accounting skills
• Attention to detail and proven ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement
