The Pediatric Division of Cardiology is seeking a Sr. Research Specialist to be responsible for the coordination of research projects focused on lipids and biomarker proteins. This individual will be managing mouse colonies, genotyping, drug delivery orally and IV. S(he) will collect animal tissues and blood- prepare plasma and work with the principal investigator to manage, present data and coordinate the required components of research. S(he) will be responsible for ordering and receiving supplies and animals. S(he) will be supervising a junior level technician and an undergraduate student. Be knowledgeable to use qRT-PCR gel electrophoresis, immunohistochemistry and ELISA assays to conduct molecular studies.
