Jarvis Christian College Hiring for Administrative Assistant / Gift Entry at Hawkins, Texas (US) Full Time

QUALIFICATIONS:

• A bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year University
• Efficient and accurate data entry skills
• Intermediate knowledge of MS Word and Excel
• 5 years of experience with clerical and/or administrative skills
• Strong customer services skills • Excellent communication skills and professionalism
• Ability to multi-task

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide advanced secretarial skills in typing, filing, record keeping. Schedule meetings and appointments Maintain files and overall office organization Maintain confidentiality correspondence and administrative files Arrange business travel and itineraries as needed Type memo’s, reports, and other documents as needed
• Reception-provide overall reception of the IAD office, including but not limited to greeting visitors, phone coverage, management of gifts, respond to routine inquiries for information and receive, review and distribute mail.
• Gift Administration- Process paperwork for the payroll office as it relates to monetary donations such as credit cards, checks, and automatic deductions.
• Modify, print, and mail gift acknowledgment letters, modify, print and mail pledge reminders.
• Prepare recognition of donor birthday, anniversaries, celebratory events as well as expressions of thank you gifts for major donors.
• Collaborate and support the efforts of others on the IAD team related to donor stewardship, cultivation and database entry.
• Plaques and Signage: Work with IAD team for creation and pick up of plaques, etc.
• Events Team support-collaborate with events team and volunteers to prepare for institutional events; name tags, event setup, tear down and volunteering during event
• Supervise student workers as needed
• Maintain fund raising files, data, and donor information through Jenzabar.
• Other duties as assigned.
