Part-Time Operations & Customer Support Specialist

We are a global distributor of men’s shaving supplies located in Yorktown Heights, NY. This part-time position will be responsible for filling retail customer orders, tracking inventory, coordinating the preparation of shipments to be sent to large distribution centers and packing and shipping individual products to our distribution centers and miscellaneous projects as needed.

• Coordinate with packing staff, manage inventory process (receiving, tracking & ordering), order supplies, answer phones, process customer orders, handle shipments and process payments, create and submit shipping insurance claims.
• Provide Customer Service – answer consumer & retailer questions, research order problems, resolve issues reported by customers with orders, shipping, etc.
• Process wholesale and retail orders – pull & package individual orders for shipment.
• Assist wholesale and retail customers with product selection – requires product knowledge to answer technical questions, make item suggestions, share popular/best sellers, learn about store and customer demographics, etc.
• Miscellaneous project work – update various online seller platforms, review listing content, keep track of retail sales & proactively contact customers as required.
• Standard Work hours are 9 am to 1 PM, Monday through Friday.

Skills Required

• College degree and/or previous work experience in a similar environment preferred
• Excellent Customer Service/Communication Skills (written & verbal)
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Team Player – willing to roll up sleeves in a small office environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Windows with working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel.
• Strong organizational skills and detail orientation
• Knowledge of Intuit QuickBooks, ShipStation, & Amazon Seller Central are a plus but not required

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
