Holyoke Community College is housed on a multi-million-dollar, 135-acre campus, equipped with state-of-the art technology in specialized learning facilities. ABOUT STEM STARTER ACADEMY
In 2014, HCC and other community colleges received grant funds from the Department of Higher Education to establish a STEM Academy. The purpose was to support community colleges in their efforts to recruit, retain, and graduate significantly more students in STEM pathway programs leading to job placement or college transfer to higher level STEM academic programs.

The STEM Peer Mentor Tutors will report directly to the Director of the STEM Starter Academy and support the STEM faculty building class community serving as a peer mentor to SSA students.

Hours: Up to 6 hours per week.
Rate: $15.00/hour
