ABOUT THE POSITION:
We are searching for a Technical Support Specialist to join our IT team. Our technical environment consists of Windows 10, Mac OS, Windows Server, and Office 365 suite including Teams and OneDrive. We support and maintain network printers and handheld scanners. This is a hands-on technical support position where you will be the first level of support to our users. This team member will play a critical role in representing the IT Team to our end users, so great customer service is a must. This team member also assists with networking, WAN & LAN network infrastructure, firewalls, security, VOIP phone systems, and more.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
As one of several technical support specialists, you will be responsible for first-level support to assist users in resolving tech issues.
· Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues.
· User account and computer (PC/laptop) set up and deployment.
· Assist with disaster recovery testing, backups, updates, and patches.
· Creating and maintaining documentation and IT Knowledge base.
· Office/Exchange 365 accounts, Teams, and OneDrive.
· Sophos Central – Endpoint, Antivirus
· Experience with Active Directory and Microsoft Azure Portal.
· Other duties as assigned.
· QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
· 3+ years of technical support experience in a Microsoft environment
· Experience supporting the IT systems across multiple locations and facilities is helpful
· Experience collaborating cross-departmentally to meet the technology needs of an organization
· Experiencing working with outside vendors

EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS:
High School diploma required. College, technical training, and/or certifications preferred.

Must be able to communicate effectively with team members and external partners through multiple forms of technology with telephone and computer.
The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, meeting rooms, copier/printer, network equipment, etc. as well as have the ability to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
Required to lift, retrieve or reposition IT equipment weighing up to 50 pounds occasionally.
Works in a typical office environment and at times may travel for business as needed.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Works in manufacturing & office environments. The noise level in the facility is usually moderate
