Manpower Group has partnered with a leading Financial Services organization in Charlotte, NC for a contract Data Management Analyst to assist their team. Future onsite work is required as per CDC and client guidelines for safe return, local candidates or able to relocate are encouraged to apply!

Title: Data Management Analyst
Location: Charlotte, NC (2-3 days onsite/week) Local only
Duration: 18-24 months

Required Skills

• Must have Financial services or Banking experience.
• 5+ years of experience with most of their experience being in Data Analysis
• Experience building data lineage, data mapping documents, process flows, data flows, data system integrations, SQL
  • Ability to understand the functionality of information and what kind of functionality they use to consume the data
• Understanding of how the data lineage from the sources turns into this – looking for the candidate to fill this in
• Ability to analyze SQL data to understand if there is a user error or data error
  • Ex: If a user comes in and asks the question “hey, im looking at this issue” this position’s responsibility is to chime in and look at the SQL/data to see if this is a user error or a data error.

About the position
Candidates must have experience gathering and documenting requirements. Needs to be a self-starter who has led requirements sessions. The ideal candidate will be someone who has a strong understanding of the requirements analysis lifecycle, Data Analysis, Financial experience, and strong foundational RDBMS expertise. The emphasis is on business and data analysis, as opposed to a technology skillset (developers, DBS, etc.).

• Additional responsibilities may include data management, data lineage/metadata, data controls; experience in data control governance; data defect/issue/deficiency remediation; documenting data flows/process flows
• Work effort coordination/management experience, current process assessment and improvement experience
• Experience writing business requirements as JIRA stories
• Experience working in Agile Scrum & Kanban environments
• Strong data profiling and data analytics
• Strong SQL writing experience (joins, unions, sub-queries)
• Experience understanding pseudo-SQL code and reverse engineer
