Decibels Hiring for Research Assistant – Remote, Contract Job at Remote Full Time

60 Decibels (60dB) is a global, tech-enabled impact measurement company that brings speed and repeatability to social impact measurement and customer insights. We provide genuine benchmarks of impact performance, enabling organizations to understand impact relative to peers and set performance targets.

We collect this data through phone surveys conducted by our global research network: more than 900+Research Assistants across 75+ countries. For the last 6 years we have been focused on data collection globally but are now looking to expand our work in the United States, and looking for individuals keen to be a part of this new opportunity. Specifically in the United States our team consists of 35 research Assistants. The 60 Decibels Research Assistant (RA) position is a great opportunity for anyone interested in the application of remote survey practices.

Summary of the 60 Decibels Research Assistant role:

• 60 Decibels Research Assistants are responsible for completing phone surveys with customers, clients, and beneficiaries and entering this data into a remote platform.
• Prior research and/or customer service experience is preferred.
• Surveys will be conducted primarily in English and Spanish, Spanish speakers are encouraged to apply.
• All data must be entered into the 60dB platform in English
• This is a remote, short-term position and requires excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Research Assistants have the opportunity to complete our training course and become a certified 60 Decibels Research Assistant.
• Research Assistants must follow strong procedures in maintaining data privacy, build trust with survey respondents, communicate proactively and regularly with the 60 Decibels team, and manage their time effectively.
• If you are selected to take our certification course, you will be added to our 60 Decibels RA Community and will be eligible for short-term contracts based on 60 Decibels’ project pipeline.
• This is a six week contract position with the potential to extend
• For the initial six week contract, you will be expected to work 5-6 hours with established hourly call attempt (20-30 per hour) and survey targets (1-3 surveys complete).
• You’ll need access to a laptop or computer, a stable phone and internet connection and somewhere quiet to work.

Location: This is a remote position, and we accept applications from all over the US, but priority will be given to applicants in the Southwest and Southern parts of the country. – please be sure to indicate the state where you are based.

Compensation: $18 per hour, with an opportunity to earn up to a 25% bonus.
