Summary
Associate Director, Alliance Management is responsible for the overall relationship and management of assigned CRO/Vendor (s) to support the successful delivery of clinical trials and programs. This position includes on-boarding of new vendors, leading day to day portfolio activities to shape and achieve the strategic objectives, growth of existing governance structures, and, overall, ensuring the highest quality CRO/vendor relationship possible. Associate Director, Vendor Relationship Management is defined as the “internal expert” for assigned CRO/vendor including company, structure, leadership, strategies, processes, financials, priorities, etc. This position identifies areas of process improvement, assists in risk identification, and escalates issues as necessary. This level resolves relationship conflicts and solves problems with minimal supervision, seeking guidance for non-routine decisions.
