Job Summary
This position is responsible for providing front-of-house support for event production at Spivey Hall. This includes participation in the management and production of Spivey Hall events, management of Spivey Hall ushers, and backstage hospitality services for Spivey Hall guest artists. This position also represents Clayton State, Spivey Hall, and the Production Manager positively to a wide range of people and organizations.

Responsibilities
40% – Set up, operate, and organize usher staff and front-of-house (chairs, music stands, etc.)
15% – In the absence of the Spivey Hall Production Manager or Spivey Hall Assistant Production Managers, supervise stage usage of visiting artists, renters, and event organizers.
5% – Provide backstage hospitality services as needed for visiting artists.
Required Qualifications
High school diploma. Undergraduate credit hours, associate degree, and/or bachelor’s degree in a performing arts field a plus. Resume

Excellent verbal, written communication, and social skills.
Strong organizational skills.
Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and ability to multitask.
Ability to represent Spivey Hall and Clayton State University successfully to a wide range of individuals and organizations.
Ability to work collaboratively as a team member.
Ability to work weekends and evenings.
Experience with concert/theatre front-of-house operations
Knowledge of classical, jazz, and/or world music preferred.
