Production Planning Analyst, Pharmaceuticals:Prepare operations plans and schedules to assist management in operating more efficiently and effectively. Work on activities related to the delivery of daily production requirements to meet delivery commitments. Create schedule and align priorities with the commercial requirements. Prepare and maintain production schedules to support the operations and other reports as required. Plan for raw material availability in conjunction with procurement team and ensure timely QC releases. Maintain master tracker of batch wise status. Following up as required with cross functional teams to expedite the execution and documentation to meet production schedule and customer expectation. Complete status reports for production progress, work in process, and raw material inventory. Interact with shop floor management daily to resolve operational issues regarding manufacturing plan execution and roadblocks. Devise QC release plan and packing plan to ensure optimal utilization level and meet the delivery targets. Participate in weekly raw material review meeting & provide leading indicators (business gain/loss) to better plan the material procurement. Identify and manage bottleneck and capacity issues with the Production team. Understand conflicting products and trade-offs on the production. Develop & maintain capacity calculation mathematical models of the plant based on product mix. Review various MIS reports that are relevant to planning such as – BO report, Stock Status Report and strategize internal production/packing plan accordingly. Prepare consolidated annual rolling forecast by pulling together the forecasts across all customers. Track and publish daily output reports. Understand conflicting products & trade-offs on the production. Working on the commitments vs. delivery and support towards the execution of On- time launches for CPM projects.
