Cheba Hut Franchising, Inc. (CHF) is a private, core-values driven company based in Fort Collins, CO. CHF is the franchise support company for Cheba Hut “Toasted” Subs, the OG marijuana-themed sub shop that fills bellies with dank food and communities with chill vibes. CHF’s aim is to keep our company small as we continue to grow our franchise operations that currently support 51 locations in 15 states.

CHF is looking for a dynamic and brand-aligned HQ Trainer to join our squad in Fort Collins. The HQ Trainer role is a key member of Cheba Hut’s operations team, and is accountable for supporting shop operations in various markets. This is not a remote position (outside of the regular travel required), and the successful candidate will need to reliably commute to our HQ in Fort Collins on a daily basis.

The HQ Trainer role has a wide variety of responsibilities, including new store opening leadership, field evaluations, hiring and administrative functions, facilities maintenance, ongoing team training and development, training class facilitation, product/procedure rollouts, and assisting with program development. The HQ Trainer will also be responsible for assisting with training needs at the HQ-operated training shop, including strategically directing and supervising the crew and overall shop operations to ensure food quality and safety standards, genuine interactions with our fans, shop cleanliness, and ongoing coaching.

Key Duties and Responsibilities for the HQ Trainer role include:

Lead HQ Trainer – New Store Openings

• Leading, managing, and holding accountable the New Store Opening team while on the road
• Responsible for all training presentations during New Store Opening
• Oversight, ownership, and coordination of the Shift Leader Training Program

Field Evaluations

• High level understanding of all shoperations including food preparation, food safety, interactions, bar operations, shop organization, shop leadership, and Cheba Hut’s Brand Standards
• Communicate feedback to shop leadership and ownership groups in a positive and productive manner

Training Shop Support

• Work shifts at HQ-operated training shop to fill in scheduling and training needs
• Coach and develop all employees in the shop
• Serve as an ambassador from HQ – get the team pumped!
• Support franchise owner/operator training programs when necessary

Program Development

• Assist in content creation for existing and new programs
• Provide feedback on existing and new programs
• Participate in program testing
• Facilitate training webinars when necessary
• May have ownership of program sections

Required Experience, Skills & Abilities:

· Physical Requirements & Working Conditions

• Ability to travel 75-90% of work time
• Ability to travel via airplane and vehicle
• Ability to work 10+ hours per day
• Ability to work under mentally and physically stressful situations
• Ability to lift 47lbs
• Ability to work at minimum an 8-hour shift at a computer, sitting or standing, in an office environment
• Must have consistent access to a working smart phone
• Must feel comfortable with marijuana-themed culture

The HQ Trainer is a regular, full-time position reporting to the Manager of Training Operations. This position requires regular, frequent travel. The work hours for this position are Monday-Friday, and weekends may also be required as needed.

Pay: $60,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
