Qualifications Required
Experience in marketing, and/or customer service fields. Strong written and oral communication skills needed for presenting information to individuals and groups. Good interpersonal skills required for coaching entrepreneurs, training coordination, and outreach.
Minimum qualification of high school degree with two years of relevant work experience required. Preferred requirement of an Associate’s degree or a Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or related field.
Experience with digital and social media marketing preferred.
General Summary
Serves as the part-time coordinator for the CCC Entrepreneurship Center, a coworking space with offices for rent in downtown Grand Island. The Entrepreneurship Center also coaches entrepreneurs and offers trainings to support small businesses. Coordinator works directly with the Entrepreneurship Center Director in Grand Island to plan and market operations to promote small business and entrepreneurial development through the CCC Entrepreneurship Center in the Grand Island community. Markets the Entrepreneurship Center to acquire tenants for the four office spaces and promotes coworking memberships. Carries out daily operations of the Entrepreneurship Center to assist coworking members and users of daily rental services. Mentors small business owners and entrepreneurs, and assists with business plan development. Assists in developing and planning workshops for small businesses and entrepreneurs. Expected to work 15-22 hours per week. In-person position only, remote work not permitted. Will perform duties and responsibilities in accordance with college policies and procedures. Performs other duties as assigned.
