Brookings Health System is seeking an Information Technology Manager to join our team and be part of the Brookings Health System mission: To provide high quality, compassionate, personalized health care.

Brookings Health system is a non-profit City owned health organization offering a full range of inpatient, outpatient, surgery, home health and extended care services. Brookings Health System includes a 49 bed hospital, 3 operating rooms, 79 bed nursing home, congregate living facility, Yorkshire Eye Clinic, Arlington Medical Center, White Medical Clinic and Volga Medical Clinic.

The IT Manager is responsible to manage the development, implementation and management of information systems, data processing systems, and related functional activities to support Brookings Health System’s information technology infrastructure. Under the general direction of the CEO, this position coordinates activities to ensure that processing efficiency and user satisfaction are maintained. This position is part of the management team and leads in the implementation of day-to-day operational management of the IT Department.

Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field, and 3 or more years of health care information system management experience; strong time and project management skills; must be capable of demonstrating a blend of leadership and relationship building skills for collaboration with internal and external partners and an ability to manage large, complex systems implementation projects that involve multiple stakeholders. A working knowledge of HIMSS, Meaningful Use, Meditech, Citrix, Windows Server 2003, Exchange server, SQL server, Wyse Thin Clients, Firewalls, and Networking strongly desired.
