Position: .6 FTE Drama Teacher
Qualifications: Proper Connecticut teaching certification (015,016,017,215 or 485); Sound knowledge of acting techniques; experience in creative dramatics and improvisation; ability to organize short plays, scenes, monologues in the classroom; directing experience; ability to plan and run rehearsals and performances.
Responsibilities: Provide effective instruction to high and middle school students in acting, performance, and theatre arts.
Terms of Employment: Position will begin on February 13, 2023. Salary and benefits in accordance with the Agreement Between the Avon Board of Education and the Avon Education Association: prorated based on (.6) FTE and official employment date.
