About the Role:
American Express Global Business Travel is looking for a Recruiting Coordinator to support the company’s recruiting efforts in Canada and the US. This role will be responsible for partnering with the recruitment team by compiling offer letters for North America, processing background checks, assisting with job postings for requisitions, and other projects as assigned. The ideal candidate will have previous HR/Recruiting coordinator experience, a strong work ethic with a sense of urgency and the ability to multi task. This person needs to be reliable, detail oriented, and can work independently.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide HR administrative support to all Recruiters in North America
- Compile offer letters for North America
- Process and follow up on background check requests for North America
- Assist with job postings for requisitions
- Record assessment completion as requested
- Assist with new hires
- Other projects as assigned
Experience:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel
- 2-5 years of previous administrative experience preferably within the Human Resources space
- Strong knowledge and experience of applicant tracking or recruiting information databases; Workday experience preferred
- Exceptional customer service focus and attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively while maintaining attention to detail
- Adept at working with teams in different office locations, and at promoting teamwork
- Confident at quickly adapting to changing work environment and priorities
- Comfortable working to tight deadlines
