Location: Neenah, Wisconsin
Reports: This position will report to the Head of Human Resources with a dotted line to President, Wisconsin business unit and will be responsible for HR functions for multiple locations of All-Lift Systems, Trester Hoist and Metropolitan Crane businesses in Wisconsin.
Purpose:
The Senior Human Resources Business Partner plays a critical role in the employee experience at Lift Solutions. This role will develop and execute people strategies that drive an employee-focused, high-performance culture. He/She/They will execute the talent strategy and processes to attract, engage, develop and retain great talent. Drive overall HR strategy on engagement, culture, employee life cycle, compensation/rewards, as well as coach and advise managers on employee engagement and performance. Key player in driving the integration of these businesses and others as we grow the portfolio.
Essential Responsibilities:
· Develop and execute plans to drive engagement and maintain a positive work experience
· Coach managers and supervisors to facilitate challenging employee situations, employee development and performance management activities, coaching and discussions
· Partner with leaders to create and execute HR team performance goals, metrics, KPI’s. Create and track data for discussion and action planning
· Coordinate employee lifecycle, starting with partnering with hiring managers on headcount budget, recruiting, selection, onboarding, etc.
· Partner w/ HR Team to design and implement new Compensation, incentive programs and guidelines, benefits programs, etc.
· Partner with leaders to drive integration activities, including developing organizational guidelines, policies, procedures and systems and striving for best practices
· Help implement change, where the latest HR trends and best practices should be applied
· Partner with HR staff to develop and execute a standard onboarding program
· Coordinate with HR Specialist to process, administer, and track all leaves of absence
· Partner with HR staff to design and implement talent/recruiting related tools, guides, process, etc.
· Respond to benefit inquiries from managers and employees on plan provisions, benefit enrollments, status changes and other general inquiries.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Human Resources, Labor Relations or a related field of study
· 8+ years of experience in Human Resources, Talent Management or Employee Relations
· Experience as a Generalist in multiple areas of HR, including talent acquisition and management, training and development, compensation and benefits, etc.
· Experience, confidence and presence to effectively handle all levels of staff and sensitive HR issues
· Experience in applying employment law and HR best practices.
· Experience with compensation, total rewards preferrable
· PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP preferred
· Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to meet the needs of employees and the business.
